Players place small buildings (stills, speakeasys, nightclubs, and casinos) on the map along with pawns representing mafia family members to protect the holdings. Red speakeasy buildings are for the game player as the outside mob breaking into the territory. The players also each have a player board (with blue in focus here) that holds extra buildings, capos used for worker placement actions on the main board, and barrels of rum and whisky to be made and sold during the game. Small money tokens earned during the game are shown above the player board.

Round city tile tokens in various districts represent one time bonuses available when building in those areas.

Played a three-handed learning game of #speakeasy by Vital Lacerda. Fantastic gameplay, so much going on, but so richly thematic! It was worth the brain burn! Very much a table hog, barely squeezed this in without opening the table. Solo play coming soon

Game was won on hard mode on year 9 with two players and four Yes votes.
