This truth is a depressing but helpful for perspective (which helps with depression haha)

NB: we went camping a lot. This one place made such an impression on me that I thought we must have gone there 8-10 times 😆

Sometimes I realize things like: that camping trip I thought we did every single summer of my childhood actually only happened twice.

Is that depressing? Not at all. It reminds me that I am not required to replicate an impossible childhood to my kids. They cover the impossible bit.

As a parent it’s so good to hear things like this. That it’s all about the small moment to moment things like that.

Thanks friend! Maybe when my kids are older I’ll head back to school. I want to note that I meant that comment as an indication of my curiosity and not my own genius hahahaha

It’s been wild for a couple of years now. Correct spelling and grammar is changed regularly. I’ve even had client names suddenly change in an email, again from the correct name to an incorrect name. It’s bizarre.

It totally was. I’m definitely giving it a full spin on my next book keeping day.

The assumption that digital information is an appropriate long term storage medium for the knowledge of the human race is utterly foolhardy.

Books aren’t indestructible but at least all you need to extract the information is…itself.

Libraries might be the most important institution we have.
