It's crazy to think that there was once a time when a game could release on steam and have the whole day (or even more!) to itself.

Was supposed to hear back from a company weeks ago. I called last week and they said my order was still processing and would hear back soon. Called again today and was told "we're sorry we just implemented a new AI system and we don't know why it hasn't processed this yet"

I'm not saying you need an army, and I'm not saying you don't need help.

If I had the budget I'd probably be outsourcing a LOT more stuff (session musicians, dedicated mixing/mastering engineers, maybe even more co-writers).

But geez 14 writers/producers for a <3:00 track seems like such overkill.

Sometimes I don't feel like I'm very good at writing songs/music. Then I remember that like many of you, most of the time I'm doing everything almost entirely by myself.

If you peek behind the curtain of any number of mega successful songs, there's a mountain of people working on them. It's crazy.

It's not much but I broke 1k miles today on my bike since I got back into cycling a couple years ago. Milestones are a nice way to get some well-deserved endorphins. 😎
