After forgetting about it for nearly three years, I finally came back and completed my first Bioshock speedrun. Getting sub-three hours was a pleasant surprise.
Now to lower that time further! 🫧

I have a really hard time choosing favorites, but Night in the Woods has to be one of mine. The visual style is memorable, the characters are believable, the soundtrack is lovely--- it's a very comfortable game!

02.02.2026 15:40 — 👍 1 🔁 0 💬 1 📌 0And even now, I'm still guilty of not following this advice! I think of abandoning a project as a sort of "instant gratification" because you're able to start something new right away instead of spending a long time building something that will ultimately be more impactful. Something like that!
02.02.2026 13:22 — 👍 1 🔁 0 💬 1 📌 0I've come to learn that most of the time, you tend to learn more from pushing through and finishing a project instead of abandoning it. To scrap something is to put it out of your mind and move on. If you finish something, you're better able to pick out what isn't satisfying in prep for next time.
