It was a huge honour to be able to share these ideas with the brilliant Martin Bromiley OBE when developing the paper, and revisiting the tragic death of Elaine Bromiley. We can now move away from aggregated labels and learn from work in a more complete, coherent manner.

Considering if a system is complicated or complex can be helpful at the macro level. At the micro level when understanding the messy reality of work as done may have varying degrees of complexity depending on the individual and the tasks in hand.
