I just received my ballot for the upcoming Special Election in Douglas County. I have spent a great deal of time online trying to find some information on the 25 candidates with little success. Any ideas on where voters can find any helpful information?

Why does a single representative from one state have the power to stop all the other representatives from voting on issues that concern their constituents?The Speaker of the House should not have such sweeping powers over all the other states’ representatives. That power robs us all of our rights.

I attended a local protest today — my first since 2016 or so. Lots of people and creative signs.

It is stunning, Linda. I love the soft tones and sweet demeanor of the young girl.

I woke up last night feeling really angry at all the family members and friends who totally ignored my Trump concerns over the last few years. “He’s not really going to do all those things he says,” they told me. Oh yeah? Ignoring him didn’t work very well, did it.

I stand with you. Elon Musk was not elected to any gov’t office and has no business passing classified materials around among his unvetted, inexperienced staff members.
