Today pupils from KS3 & KS4 visited Cornwall Islamic Centre. They were introduced to the Muslim Community Leader who spent time showing the pupils around the prayer hall and explaining the foundations of the Islamic religion. Pupils asked some valuable questions and were so grateful for the trip.

These are brilliant! Well done all.

Thank you to Cornish Tea & Coffee who met with year 11 pupils today as one of our employer encounters.

Pupils heard all about the mastery of coffee making and then were able to experience making their own drinks using the wonderful coffee machine that was transported in.

Pupils have started planting fruit trees in our nature space. We are so proud of how this area is developing, our pupils love it already. Watch this space for further updates!

Final day of our week of enrichment and the close of the academic year. Whole school trip to the beach for rounders, Frisbee, shell collecting, seal spotting, hula hooping and sausage baps! Joy 🦭🏖⚾️

Some very serious chess players are settling into a tournament this afternoon. There is silence in the dining hall! ♟️♟️

Great Year 10 trip to The Box Museum in Plymouth. Great day had by all!

Day 2 of Restormel does Masterchef and ks3 teams have cooked up an absolute storm in the kitchen. No pressure judges!

We love our new planters. Built by pupils who then went to a local garden centre to select some herbs and fruit plants to fill them. Wonderful.

Fabulous day 1 of our enrichment week. Look at these incredible meals!

Last week KS3 pupils visited The Eden Project, to be involved in a 'Sustainable Attainable' workshop. Followed by a tour of the wonderful site and biomes.

Over the last couple of weeks pupils have picked fresh elderflower and made their own elderflower cordial. Just look at those results!

Great KS3 RE lesson this morning. Pupils were fully engaged in exploring the Muslim faith Islam. We discussed prayer mats, prayer caps, the significance of the compass and the Qur'an. Positive and powerful conversation around knowledge being key to understanding and respecting different faiths.

Our staff wellbeing Fairy (otherwise known as Heather), has created this for staff to show their gratitude and kindness towards one another. They simply write and post a small personalised message to their colleague.

Really looking forward to seeing the smiles this creates across our team 😄💕

We are thrilled to be holding a year 11 leavers celebration today. We are incredibly proud of our pupils and the adversities they have overcome on their own journeys to be successful. First on the itinerary is Laser Tag! Then a leavers lunch with all staff where the celebrations will continue ⭐️
