Is Trump preparing to invoke the Insurrection Act? Signs are pointing that way A joint Department of Defense and Homeland Security report will soon recommend whether or not to invoke the Insurrection Act over illegal migration.

One of Trump’s first executive orders that went out on January 20th mentions the potential use of the Insurrection Act which some believe may be coming April 20, 2025 - meaning Trump would bypass congress, put troops in cities, and suspend protesting rights.
