I’m in the messy middle of learning iOS dev.
It’s frustrating. Boring. Abstract as hell.
But I’m not quitting this time.
Just documenting the struggle so future me remembers what it took.

I've been on the other side of coding for so long as a marketer and thought its about time to learn the product side of it. I have few app ideas that I want to build and rather than hiring a dev, I though I learn IOS myself as a hobby 😀

2/2 lessons into a real life application. I'm not saying learning these are not important but not a single course have ever even given an example of an app that is using it. Its so much easier to understand and remember when you can tie it with something you already know. Or maybe its just me...🤷‍♀️

I joined a course to learn IOS and this is not my first coding course I've taken. Each and every course that I've taken has the some what boring first lessons for coding... sure its nice to do 2*2 calculations or use if/else but.... I'm yet to find a single course that actually ties the intial...1/2

One of the hardest part of any new thing is to decide to go for it. My decision to learn to code is not an easy one. I'm 50 and it makes me wonder if its too late... Can I even learn coding? I have plenty of ideas but... ideas are worthless if I can't get them out there. Will see. This is day one.
