Learning CSS. Advanced selectors are tricky!
The Odin Project has done such a great job at explaining everything. Wish Codecademy would take note.
Odin is free by the way. If only they were as interactive as Codecademy.

Nice! I've been involved with marketing too for the past decade. Decided to take a plunge into coding this year. Keep posting about what you learn :)

Day 3 of #100DaysofCode & #DevMateDiaries
Added colors, an input field, a button, fixed container size, line heights, font families & other visual aspects.
I've realized I like working on the frontend because of immediate output & making things visually appealing is satisfying.

Since I publicly committed to the challenge, I've coded for 2 days. I'm trying to create an MVP waiting list form and a landing page. (1/2)

My tool is not exactly a social tool like your HypeDesk which I signed up for yesterday and used a bit...it has potential. Frankly I'm still figuring out what exactly I want to build and how to use my existing marketing skills to build a useful product.
What inspired you to build HypeDesk?

Yes, there is a real need for proper marketing guidance for developers who can't afford to hire or build a marketing team. I'm hoping to make a difference with my tool.

I'm taking a few JavaScript and React courses at Codecademy.
I have a background in marketing, so alongside learning at Codecademy, I'm going to build a marketing tool that will help solo developers find real users and convert their side projects into thriving businesses.

Ok, so I'm publicly committing to learning to code.
It's the middle of the year, with approximately 160 days left. I'm committing to #100DaysOfCode, which I aim to complete in the final six months of this year.

Yea, it's hard. Making a point of posting something every week, even if it feels stupid and doesn't get reply or likes, is important. I've been trying to engage with folks on x dot com for the past 6 months. It's been mostly crickets but things are picking up. Last post recieved 10+ replies.

You are right about routines! I managed to find a perfect one this year, but was thrown off track a few weeks back.
I'm back to routine this week.
3 hours/night is good progress! I can barely squeeze in an hour every day. I probably need to automate a few things in my life and make more time.

Lots of developers hate marketing their products!
Some just don't know how to.
Some are impatient because marketing takes time.
I've been involved with content marketing for nearly a decade, and I'm thinking of building a tool that'll help devs market their new products.
