For me it's because I like to explore the world through food. Traveling isn't something I can do very often, if at all. Traveling the world via food? That I can do!

That, and I've learned some things are FAR cheaper to make at home (cheesecake) than to buy.

I was told 11 days ago that my criticism of Schumer was tiring. Yet, here we are.

Let me be clear about something, folks:

I didn't initially. I went from cooking because I have to, to cooking only what I like, to cooking what I'd like to try. All while understanding my skill level. As I improve, I get a bit more ambitious.

When COVID hit, takeout took a massive hit. Mom and pop shops get some love, and that's it.

I've done brownie bottom cheesecakes before. An attempt at a Boston cream pie cheesecake that had a yellow cake on the bottom was a rare cheesecake fail for me.

Rare failure in that it was the only cheesecake I tried making that wasn't successful the first time.

That was some Tom and Jerry type of shenanigans, and I am here for it!

Just a word of caution. I remember when Cavaliers great John "Hot Rod" Williams was embroiled in a point shaving scandal, and if I recall correctly, had to sit out a year.

A year he couldn't get back because he was cleared.

Yes, this is me keeping hope alive, but also innocence before guilt.

Calling caramel inferior to pumpkin is... a choice! I appreciate the devotion to pumpkin, even as I disagree.

A friend of mine has suggested something outside of the box. I've been asked if I can do a cheesecake with an actual cake on the bottom and the cheesecake on top. No flavor was suggested.

I can never make a pumpkin cheesecake. My rule is I don't make something I won't eat. Can't do it.

Pomegranate ice cream is new to me too. Sounded interesting. Gotta get some Mexican chocolate, I have supplies for everything else.

Ice creams: pomegranate, egg nog, cinnamon, ginger, vanilla, cranberry, Mexican chocolate, and peanut butter. (choose 3)

2: a congressional district goes without representation (affected district only)

3: any US entity currently with nonvoting representation (affected districts only).

I gave up red meat for lent about 25 years ago. I eat very little red meat now, specifically beef. I've never been a steak guy, so it wasn't hard for me.

I'm looking for ways to prepare vegetables I may have been unfamiliar with (the carrot soup I tried a few weeks ago). Still looking for more.

I've been watching Murphy for some time. He seems to lack ambition, which I view as a good thing. He also seems like the kind of resource future leaders would need.
