INGRID: I guess in the end, the Bloodbath is what kills me after all. No surprise. It already took everything else from me. Ingrid's father is silent for a moment, then reaches over and pats her shoulder. INGRID'S FATHER: Yeah, not gonna lie. That was reckless. And you always used to be so careful with it. Who you been hangin' out with?

INGRID'S FATHER: But it paid off. Cuz it brought you into contact with Nowhere. And me. The viewpoint shifts to a panorama of Nowhere's field of eyeballs, with the tower in the center. It's broken on one side from Ingrid's punch, and a mass of brain tissue is poking out. INGRID'S FATHER (VO): Focus. On the tremors of its muscle. The electrical pulses of its brain tower. The rivers of blood in its veins. And, rumbling like a great storm, a pulse. Back to Ingrid. Her eyes are closed. The flesh and eyeballs of Nowhere have begun to encroach on the bedroom. INGRID'S FATHER (VO): This place is alive. Close up on Ingrid's eyes. INGRID'S FATHER (VO): The Bloodbath's done awful things to you. Too many. But you know what that means. When Ingrid opens one eye, she's an adult again. The resolve is back in her voice. INGRID: Give back a thousand times what I got.

A big grin spreads across her dad's face. INGRID'S FATHER: Damn straight. Ingrid wakes up, for real this time. She's laying on her side in Nowhere's field of eyeballs. Her limbs are gone, tapering off into shadows that pool on the ground. INGRID (VO): Can't move. Limbs gone. Fall broke everything else. She stares into the eyeballs beneath her, as they stare back at her. INGRID (VO): But it's fine. It's perfect. Her gaze sharpens. INGRID (VO): This is all living flesh.

Full view of the entirety of Nowhere: a gigantic mass of flesh and eyeballs floating in a sea of fire. INGRID (VO): It's a single organism, big as the world. There's so much caloric energy inside it. Untapped. Back down to Ingrid. She aligns the stumps of her limbs with Nowhere itself, and pulls new ones out of it. Flesh and darkness swirl around her body as it regenerates. INGRID (VO): If I take out just a little bit... healing all this damage is trivial. Ingrid starts to rise, one fist clenched. INGRID (VO): And there's still so much more. I wonder...
