I had a great time at our #OpenDays this week - wonderful to meet prospective students and discuss our new #AppliedAI programme with them. I'm so impressed with how they're already using #AI as a tool to support their education, and excited to see how this develops on our new degree!

I'm overjoyed to share that - thanks to a huge amount of help, support, and encouragement from friends, family, students, and colleagues, #FirstStepsInSpaceTime has just been published! It's been such a joy working with CRC Press on this book, and I'm so excited to share it!

Excellent #cosmology seminar this week by Dr Paul Shah on supernova lensing and evolving #DarkEnergy - amazing to see a 6σ detection of SN lensing! Paul noted that SN lensing is now comparable to galaxy lensing ~20 years ago - exciting to see what's next!
