2/ A key focus of the gathering was a draft law that would restrict access to trans-specific, gender-affirming healthcare for young people. In a challenging political context, it’s encouraging to see strong coordination, shared priorities, and collective resolve.

🧵 In October 2025, we attended a national gathering of Italia Trans Agenda, a network of Italian trans-led organisations and groups. Alongside urgent advocacy work, the meeting marked a historic moment: participating groups decided to formally register Italia Trans Agenda as an organisation.

4/ We extend our sincere gratitude to our collaborators who were essential in the creation of this report: Asocijacija Spektra, Talas Tirv, Transcoalition, and Transforma as well as the authors Vanya Solovey (he/him) and Amanita Calderón-Cifuéntes (she/her).

3/ The report also identifies clear patterns of disproportionate impact. Trans women and transfeminine people, trans sx workers, migrants, and unemployed trans people face the highest levels of violence.

2/ The findings show that anti-trans violence is overwhelmingly systemic. Survivors experience several forms of harm, such as psychological, physical, emotional, and institutional, often repeatedly and in many areas of their lives.
