Amid anti-trans politics, today is a day of reflection. A day to mourn those we have all lost.
Each name is a reminder to love and fight for each other, and especially for those most marginalised.
With solidarity, we will build a better world for us all.
Encouraging the policing of public spaces based on appearance and gender stereotypes is no way for a human rights regulator to behave.
The EHRC’s proposed Code of Practice is a misogynist’s charter, and the government must reject it.

The Minister observes that if the Court proceeds to determine the core legal issue raised in this claim – whether the Publication accurately reflects the EA 2010 provisions relating to CSSs – this is likely to be material to, and of assistance in, the exercise of the Minister's functions in respect of the Defendant’s Draft Code.
Remember that while the EHRC have withdrawn the interim advice, their statutory Code of Practice is still with the Minister.

Zoe Leventhal KC, representing the minister for women and equalities, argued that the guidance may have been too simplistic in suggesting that, for example, a trans woman should not use a women's toilet in a public space. She suggested that it could be judged on a case-by-case basis.

Trans+ Solidarity Alliance, one such campaign group, has recently organised a letter airing the concerns of 650 company bosses over providing single-sex spaces.
