Colombia has a reputation for producing the finest quality Arabica coffee beans. A small group of independent farmers constitutes the leading coffee producing nation in the world. The beans are grown in terrain and are cultivated meticulously and precisely.

Coffee prices are going to go higher. This will undoubtedly affect small businesses like the one I work for, Solar Roast Coffee. With so much uncertainty in the world, this just hurts my heart and I’m afraid of what the future holds for our entire company.

Sumatra is a part of Indonesia. It’s the 6th largest island in the world and home to 50 million people. Along with Borneo and Java, it is one of the three main islands comprising the country.

Sumatran Coffee is legendary. It’s one of the first places coffee was grown on a larger scale!

Coffee is an import! America has a very small amount of coffee that is grown mostly on the Hawaiian islands and a very small amount in California. That “American” grown coffee is very expensive to produce and in extremely limited quantities. I am amazed that some people don’t realize this fact.
