He's disliked because the media tell people everything that he is doing is bad for them. Better worker rights - that'll cost your job. More NHS appointments - you're just paying for foreigner's health care. Clean Energy - you're paying huge bills because of that. Etc etc

Man who writes book that highlights the media driven "Broken Britain" parrots the same media.

Really? You think calling for a performative vote that wouldn't have affected Israel when he wasnt even PM is so important to override everything else?

I genuinely think Streeting is enjoying his current job.

Oddly, her doing nothing has resulted in two of the BBC board resigning. I would be surprised if more follow. At the least BBC reform is on the cards. Perhaps she has a Gibb voodoo doll.

Indeed but too many people seem to have thought everything would be fixed within a month.

Just regurgitated the same nothing that was in the Guardian.

Right in cue, we have the BBC with a Starmer in trouble article.

Your'e not the only one with that feeling.

It's like the Tea alarm at 4.

Seriously?

They rely on people not reading the article. Which is odd because increasingly the people who actually paid are stopping doing that because of this crap.

I feared that would be the case. A good idea until it isn't.

Surely by now, Nandy has enough reason to get rid of the entire current board and start again.

At the moment, I mentally separate the Greens from Polanski. (As I suspect some do with Labour/Starmer). I've voted locally for Greens, there's overlap in a lot of the aims of Labour/Green. I'm wary of Polanski. Just seems a man of soundbites. Then I'm old and that is how the world works now.

Emily would get the job anyway.

I'm talking about retaliatory tariffs.

While that sounds great, telling the man baby to F off would probably lead to job losses among perfectly innocent working class people here.

While I agree with this article, Lewis and team have also eagerly jumped on any trivial event and amplified it for "reasons".

She needs a wealth tax.

Well said. I think a cross party enquiry into the appointments is in order. I'm a Labour supporter and I dont want basically a left version of Gibb. Needs to be unbiased.

10.11.2025 18:24 โ€” ๐Ÿ‘ 7    ๐Ÿ” 0    ๐Ÿ’ฌ 0    ๐Ÿ“Œ 0

I just wish people would give them more time. Not everything can be done straight away, or even at all. The country is/was in a state and needs long term fixes. I predict lots of "wealth tax" crap now.

It was about trying to amend the Kings speech. The first for years. Other ways of protesting about the cap, but they made their choice.

10.11.2025 17:05 โ€” ๐Ÿ‘ 4    ๐Ÿ” 0    ๐Ÿ’ฌ 1    ๐Ÿ“Œ 0

The vote was actually about accepting the kings speech. But hey ho.

We had the same shit last year where people, and the press, knew 'for certain ' what was in the budget. They were all wrong of course lol
