Most national politicians are tied to corporate donors. We are seeing now how many of them are just passively accepting everything going on. Yet they present themselves as liberal. That’s what I mean by sneakier. They are liberal white nationalists. Incrementalists. Stability over real change.

I know what you mean. I always wanted to play the earlier games after playing Cold Steel, but—unlike so many people these days—find no appeal in pixel art, having gamed in that style when it was new. Can’t wait to play these remakes!

Honestly, I think if we just abandon capitalism as an economic model, it would solve just about every other problem humanity has right now. I think we can move behind the false binary of “capitalist-communist” and develop a more inclusive model.
