:(
Has an excellent Youtube channel ad well :)

Seems pretty clear to me.
There are of course legit discussions about the boundaries, but uh ... this is NOT one of them.
Look at JJ just humblebragging about being in Curaçao. :)
Hope you're having a good and productive time.
(btw my autocorrect wanted to replace the ç with a mere c - bad autocorrect!)
That's a fun name for a store,.and nice catch.
09.02.2026 21:15 — 👍 1 🔁 0 💬 1 📌 0Oh I agree wholeheartedly with your disdain for many on the right. I share it!
Only, in my country I see many on the left do just that. With nothing quite as extreme as what you are dealing with over there, but if they are not prepared to stand up on lesser matters...
I hope to be proved wrong.
This may be heretical, but if and when the tables turn you may be saddened (but probably not surprised) how many people who label themselves progressive actually prove full of fault and willing to go with the ideological flow because it is convenient.

By which I take my random postings have it slightly confused!
If you see this, quote with a robot that isn't from "Star Wars", "Star Trek", "Dr. Who", or "Transformers."

The arc of a Greek tragedy is that through the arrogance and pride of the protagonist a failing happens and everything falls apart.
Whether that is a good fit you would know better than me, but I bet that's the arc they are thinking of.
Reading a book about the Royal Navy's use of fishing trawlers and drifters in the world wars, and it's truly fascinating.
I was not completely ignorant of their existence prior, but will freely confess I knew very little. It's nice to learn more about them, and those who served on them
I can't speak for the US military of course, but if [insert several family members] who served were ordered to buy tickets watch a biopic - well the language would not be very polite.
07.02.2026 18:03 — 👍 1 🔁 0 💬 0 📌 0So let me introduce you to @dreadships.bsky.social, who for some reason has a (probably unhealthy) fascination for the French pre-dreadnought era. From there you will find more naval related channels.

07.02.2026 00:51 — 👍 1 🔁 0 💬 0 📌 0One of my favourite things about the late Sir Terry Pratchett was that when he was asked why he had six monitors on his desk, he replied that it was because he did not have room for 8!

Whether Virginia is worth your suffering I know not, but hopefully your clients will make it worthwhile.
4 monitors on their computer - nice!

It will forever be a mystery to me why otherwise fine folk waste perfectly good dough, cheese, and other ingredients on the monstrosity that is pizza
:)
That sounds like a somewhat suboptimal strategy tbh. Right up there with me finding time go watch The Mandalorian in 2021 via breaking my leg.
Hope you why better soon.
I've seen variations of that play out time and again. It's very depressing.
06.02.2026 20:34 — 👍 0 🔁 0 💬 0 📌 030 years ago where I live there was a shortage of bus drivers. Company just couldn't recruit. Then when the EU expanded they managed to hire a bunch of Poles and Czechs (iirc) and then the people who had been complaining about there not being enough bus drivers now complained about the bus drivers.

02.02.2026 18:12 — 👍 0 🔁 0 💬 0 📌 0There's no humour in this.
A man died because of his actions, and this verdict won't bring him back. I hope it gives his family some finality though, and I'm glad the jury saw through the clever legal defence of [checks notes] "he's totally responsible for it, we'd just rather you let him off".
I do still love his film of Richard III.

It was just a sparkling metallic polyhedron with potentially sharp edges.
Reminds me of the Vault Tec salesman in Fallout 4
