Have you read The Painter's Daughters?
What did you think?
There are so many layers to this book...and some intriguing ideas in there and how lovely that this ficitonalised account features the Gainsborough's real-life daughters on the cover!

Does that happen to you? What was the last book you read that made it difficult to move on? #booksky #historicalfiction+
Absolutely, there is a beauty in simple language. However, every now and again, a word's rhythm makes a longer word the perfect fit...but only if used sparingly. Gosh that sounds pretentious!
