The near daily barrage of deadly mass shootings in America feels like low level warfare against normal citizens who just want to live in peace. And because people keep electing Republicans who won’t do anything about it there’s no solution in sight.

We have to stop rewarding white male mediocrity.

I feel like a pretty good rule of thumb is don't take drug advice from someone who can't pronounce the name of it.

I find it deeply disconcerting the way they keep “teasing” the big info they have on autism.

If there was a real scientific breakthrough, they wouldn’t wait.

This isn’t about science, it’s about discriminating against neurodivergent people.

When a right-wing man murdered Democratic lawmakers in Minnesota, progressives asked MAGA to tone down the rhetoric to prevent more violence. Within hours of Kirk’s murder, motive still unknown, the right is demanding that the government wage a campaign of violence against their enemies.

Look at the response from Democratic political officials on the Left when someone on the Right is shot vs the response from Republican political officials when someone on the Left is shot. Tells you everything you need to know about them.

Why are no headlines focusing on the unconstitutional and dictatorial nature of this action?

All of this, every bit of it, traces back to the failure of the U.S. government to invest in public education for decades and expecting overworked and underpaid educators to make up the difference.

Maybe it’s just me, but I’d much rather have an entire undocumented immigrant family with two happy trans kids living right next door to me than a white supremacist or a racist MAGA lunatic any day of the week.
