I don't watch much TNA but agree they would have fit right in with characters like Rosemary and Crazzy Steve lol there's occasionally some good match ups on JCW and I like the characters more often than not but it's definitely not for everyone like Russo claims he writes for lol

Vertvixen & Red Velvet TORE IT UP in that ROH Women’s TV title match! I see really bright futures for both of these competitors. Red has taken her game to a whole new level & Vert has easy chemistry with everyone she’s competed against in ROH/AEW. She should be signed asap.

That pinning combination from Maya on Billie was AWESOME! Maya World is something special.

If Athena lets Billie survive after this, Billie & Maya are gonna be ripping it up for years to come & I can’t wait to see it. #ROH

Give it a shot lol it's silly and very character/story driven but it's usually pretty fun if you don't go in expecting 5 star matches (my favorite company is AEW so I very much do appreciate those kinda matches). Their GCW vs JCW 2 Night war from last year was pretty good.

3. While the president may have dementia his racism is not due to dementia.
4. He isn’t sorry. He means every racist thought he shares.
5. His base agrees with him.
6. He will do it again.
7. No one in power will hold him accountable.

I went to a JCW show last year but it was before Russo was with them...matches were all pretty fun and actually ended with pinfalls instead of constant dqs or cheating...great commentary team too

They've got really fun characters and occasionally the "writing" is pretty entertaining but the majority of fans these days want great matches too and without that it's going to keep being looked at as a joke promotion by most

I agree...I think JCW is a really fun show usually (despite not caring for some of the more tasteless material) but it'd be even better if they focused as much on the in ring work as they do backstage segments. After all if you're at the show live why would you want to watch most of it on a screen?

It should be a balance. I agree engaging storylines help to keep interest but so do great matches and you can tell stories in the right just as well as with 20 backstage segments. He's right but also very wrong.

The only casual fans he seems to want are those that are into low brow, raunchy humor and he doesn't understand that stuff doesn't appeal to everyone especially in the "current" times he speaks of...he claims you have to write for everyone but doesn't give a shit about ppl who just want good matches

Therefore almost every match how ends with a screwjob finish or dq and the focus is more on 25 backstage segments when it should be more of a balance between the two...not to mention him burying Punk for wrestling in a shirt only to put their world title on a guy who does the same the following week

As someone who actually watches the current JCW Lunacy show he writes for...he knows how to tell consistent storylines throughout an episode...problem is his content is often outdated (mob boss storylines, mystery people in limos, etc) and as he says himself he doesn't care about the in ring work
