It would make a big difference if government departments withdrew from Twitter and moved to Bluesky, followed by at least the more progressive parties. Journalists would have to follow. Staying on Twitter isnβt engaging in debate, but merely adding a veneer of respectability to a far right platform.

Nigel Farage's racism denials are dishonest, says ex-classmate
Peter Ettedgui tells the BBC Nigel Farage targeted antisemitic abuse at him when they were teenagers.
Former classmate insists Farage repeatedly told him "Hitler was right" and "gas them" when they were teenagers at Dulwich College - and that the Reform leader's denials are dishonest.

Fix Britain's Trade
Liberal Democrats want to turbocharge our economy by forming a Customs Union with the EU, tearing down the trade barriers and red tape holding us back.

Thereβs no excusing the Tories either. They took Β£millions in donations from super rich Russians close to Putin. My point is that Labour are in power now and need to take on the far right in all its forms.

Whatever talent there is on Labourβs front bench is wrecking itself on the defence of foolish and immoral policies. Who will have the necessary moral authority left to be a credible replacement for Starmer?
