I made these lasagne this week for @lasagnalove.bsky.social. It’s a nonprofit that pairs home chefs with neighbors who need comfort food and it is a great balm for the awful shit in many ways!

Hi folks, I know I post about @lasagnalove.bsky.social a lot, but I wanted to take some time on this beautiful holiday afternoon to talk about just how easy it is to get involved, and why I have made it a regular part of my schedule.

Last December I started channeling my anxiety about the world into baking and delivering lasagnas to community members in need.

As of tonight, between @lasagnalove.bsky.social and my local Buy Nothing group, I have brought 100 lasagnas to my neighbors!

Lasagna Love will keep showing up, one meal at a time. Because even when the systems bend, kindness will not break.
