Without mass transit funding, our entire state economy will feel the impact of working, shipping, and transportation delays, effecting commutes and jamming up traffic for hours.

This is avoidable if Senate Republicans return to Harrisburg and do the job they were elected to do: pass a state budget.

It is time for Senate Republicans to break their vacation and come back to Harrisburg to finish the job and vote in a budget that funds our mass transit systems.

Let’s get this done for Pennsylvania, now.

Since taking office, the Shapiro-Davis administration has included a minimum wage increase in every state budget.

In every budget we’ve asked to raise the wage and we did so again in this one. It is time for my colleagues in the State Senate to give working people a raise.
