At the risk of ridicule, I stuck with the new Robin Hood show after the dull opening episode and... it's fine actually. The writers have never even seen a history book, but most Robin Hood shows/films suffer on that front. Not great, but decent fun.

I was literally just reading the "talent is the new gatekeeping" thread, with increasing amounts of disbelief, when they deleted their account mid-scroll.

#bdog has just gone in for a new/stronger chemotherapy session, which is a make-or-break treatment. Good vibes appreciated.

We organised a meet-up with his best pal, Audrey, earlier, to make sure he had a good day despite everything.

I did a very similar thing with The Last Vigilant (sort of "Sharpe meets Cadfael"). In fact, there was a point early on where I considered ditching the fantasy setting and transferring it to medieval York instead.

"Interesting" that new social media accounts have been going around for a few weeks protesting Neil Gaiman's innocence, while promoting this "smoking gun" substack. Just in time for the man himself to come back to public life.
