I thought Jimmy would have realised the old tactics that won them an AI before won’t work the way the game is evolving. Especially when you see the form coming out of Kerry clubs this season.

The standard of play in the Tyr v Kildare match was quite good to be fair and some very good movement from both teams in attack. The fisted point seems to be a gonner now as a result of the two pointers.

The 50m penalty rule is the one that I really don’t like. I’m sure Sallins supporters will attest to that. It’s too severe a penalty. Two pointers like you say are adding to the quality of games.

I agree, Kildare could have won it considering they were down to 14 men! I think it’s good for them psychologically to come away with a result. The response to the goal was so good!
