It is astonishing how dumb their supporters are.

There is every possibility to upgrade in accordance with the agreement from 1951 - resigned in 2012 by Colin Powell. Don't shout - better talk like friends.
Putin would love to see the US use military force to seize Greenland. This enormous mistake would legitimize Russia's invasion of Ukraine. We should work with Denmark and Greenland to build unshakable economic and security ties. But using force is completely wrong. apnews.com/article/russ...

I Rusland hverver man over 30.000 soldater om måneden.
Text from Rob Kunzig on Facebook: Seems to be a lot of talk about our NATO Allies’ contribution to the Global War on Terror. As in: “Hey, Europe, what have you done for us lately?” Well, nobody’s asking me, but I have shit to say, so here we go again. In 2018, I was interviewing a Danish infantry sergeant named Kim. He’d shouldered me and my pesky camera aside during live-fire drills a few hours earlier, so this sit-down was a little awkward. Big guy. Built like a fridge. Stared at me with cool, even eyes as I bounced questions off him like pebbles. But when I asked him about his service in Afghanistan, something gave way. His posture changed. He started talking about a machine gunner he’d lost to an IED while clearing a compound. He paused. He fought back tears. His words came out as croaks but he managed to complete the sentence.
Kim serves a nation of roughly 6 million people. When, in the wake of 9/11, the United States requested that NATO rally around it and go to war, Denmark heeded the call. Between 2002 and 2018, 48 Danes died in Afghanistan. If you just thought “Only 48?”, you should know that, during the heaviest fighting in Helmand Province, the Danes were absorbing more casualties per capita than any other NATO nation. The reciprocal question from a Dane might be: “What were we doing there in the first place?” Only it wouldn’t be a question, of course. Denmark understood its responsibilities as a NATO ally. When you’re a small country without much of a military tradition, the loss of just a handful feels devastating. They weren’t the only ones who lost. The United Kingdom, our most stalwart allies, lost more than 600 troops in Iraq and Afghanistan.
Eighty-eight French soldiers died in Afghanistan. Again, if you’re saying “Only eight-eight?”, you need to sit down and have a good think. What if one of those eighty-eight were yours? How would you feel when their tricolor-draped casket came home? How would you feel today, when the United States seems poised to walk away from the alliance that your child died to protect? What has Europe done for us, lately? That’s a question answered in blood. (Photo: Danish soldier from Vidar Company during a live-fire exercise in Latvia, 2018)
