This is a point I thought of making in my blog, but it's a different argument entirely, and not relevant to my blog's thesis.

The core difference is just that commissioning an AI is faster, and usually free.

People only commission AI to generate content because they want an instant result, and they don't want to pay anybody.

AI replaces the artist, it does not transform commissioners into artists somehow.

In my view, there is no such thing as AI artists. They are AI commissioners.

They commission an AI to create something for them. Everything they claim to be "creative" aspects are just the things commissioners do when they request art.

I want to write more than just articles about large-scale topics going forward, these big pieces are part of why I never blog lol
