It was pretty obvious it was going to happen. Turns out old people don't like bikes. Maybe if Penndot focused on transit and added a bus lane, the disabled people would speak highly of the plan and that certain community leader may have been able to justify it to everyone else.

Joe Picozzi learned politics from Brian O'Neill. Brian O'Neill acts like this, too.

Don't celebrate early, this is a plan made with good intentions, but lacks the cherry on top, an answer for everyone, but the stubborn and foolish. It will be important to educate, and of course, people want their trolley line back, please. :( I am serious even if it starts as a bus lane.

Please don't hate on Light Rail. The Lisbon example was great, and let's be honest, Stadler makes good Heavy and Commuter Rail trains because they use tram elements in their designs.

Sadly, you need a plan to prevent the consequences of that decision. Tolling 95 and 76 is a start, but in truth NE Philly needs reasonable alternatives to getting to the L.

Yeah, uhh... You understand the Jubilee Line had 75 incidents including injury between 2009 and 2012. I don't think you want to remind people of that. Remind them of pillars on the L, those are much safer.

The plan doesn't include bus lanes, that in the future, can turn in tracks. It's good enough North-South for bikes in the area, in addition to area being families that use bikes recreationally if at all.

Please do not sign that petition. The design is unsupportive of dedicated transit.

Are you sure you want to invoke such eldritch knowledge?

It is more like the capped expressway tries to hide some of the four thru-lanes except when they don't do that, and the neighbor boulevard leaves the hidden lanes in plain sight hoping you ignore them. How about we give the road a further diet, and end this frivolous debate.

Sadly, I couldn't make it to today @blvdsubway.bsky.social open house due to SEPTA's policy of not replacing bus stop signs ahead of Bus Revolution. 67 signs at Rhawn and Lonely are missing, and the bus driver didn't stop at the corner at Rhawn.

Platform Doors like the ones in the picture transfer the risk of someone falling off the platform to the risk of the door closing on someone. I would suggest retractable netting, or hostile architecture like the pillars at some L stations. I understand lower platforms are unfeasible, I prefer that.

1. You can't just destroy frequency for the 14 and R because a new express service is added.
2. the 19,24, and/or 67 need improvement too.
3. 88 doesn't need a deviation to Bustleton, Adams on the other hand...

Well, @blvdsubway.bsky.social is a now problem... Want to do more for NE Philly?

2. I get the unwise, but educated people at SEPTA and PennDOT can't comprehend a world with Frankford as just a L station, but 54th & City and Street Rd & The Blvd is a one seat ride.
4. All plans don't have at least an improved riding experience for people travel to the Blvd, but live far away.

If Republicans really really cared about efficiency, they would make sure SEPTA was always 120% taxpayer-funded in exchange for removing the consumption tax known as a transit fare.

writing it out.
70: It was good enough before. There was not much reason to change.
88: If you are going to spilt it in half, the halves have to connect.
Frequencies: You literally can't wait for more than 20 minutes healthily. Why are you running 30 or 60 minute busses then?

...it do now? Fern Rock TC, not that bad that I think about it. Wait, This makes going to the only two places a NE Philly residents go to in Center City harder from some places.
Market St: Okay, you can have one bus for accessibility. NO ONLY ONE!!! Oh poop.
67: You can look yourself I'm not...

1: Discontinued. This creates a service gap between Pratt and Bustleton. While the routing would have to change to Wissahickon TC to Neshaminy Mall, you would still have transfers to Frankford TC.
19: This bus is cut in half at Cottman, it's continuation to Frankford given to the 24. Where does...

... somewhat because They just wanted it to be a one year thing. No new bus terminals, and no changes phased in to make sure they worked. To prevent the reason I personally couldn't leave comment (I ramble and bad handwriting), I am stopping this *thing* that is already two posts long.

Bus Revolution was a giant mess. SEPTA planners favored Center City too heavily usually by talking down and making excuses to NE Philly and possibly other areas while instantly apologizing to CC residents, asking people to write own comments, which some people can't, and making the worse choices...

Good, I want to primary the State Rep because when I said more moderate I meant this guy said to me the Roosevelt Blvd Subway plan was going raise property taxes as a reason not to do it, and wrote the most right wing signal things is his last newsletter.

Is that Rep a State Rep that share an area with a Republican City Council that shares both Neil in their last names and is more moderate than him?
