Thanks a lot, Remi, for this detailed and insightful answer! So "Grammaire des Constructions" appears to capture those two aspects best in French. (I also thought of "Grammaire de Construction" if only/mostly the dynamic view was intended.)

I only ask bc for some odd reason I seem to remember having read the 2nd view in some of @adelegoldberg.bsky.social's own writing, but I now wonder if I'm imagining things 😅

(1) the basic building bloc, namely 'constructions' (static view)
(2) the needed process of constructing an utterance & its function (dynamic view).
