More than 50 child asylum seekers still missing after disappearing from Kent care
Council data obtained by the Guardian shows 345 children have gone missing in recent years, many probably taken by traffickers
These poor kids didnβt stand a bloody chanceβ¦
345 vulnerable kids, seeking asylum and then lost by our authorities
50 still missing
Likely to traffickers
How could this have happened?
Unforgivable from now-Reform controlled Kent County Council.

the ending of THE GODFATHER, the best american movie ever made, doesn't work without diane keaton's final look --- at the realization of who she's married and what her life is going to become and what corruption lurks behind closed doors. unforgettable, inimitable work. RIP.

In France, the France Televisions/Prime Video and TF1/Netflix deals are rankling producers, and understandably so. "If a producer canβt make a separate deal with Netflix to help co-finance a show because Netflix gets the show anyway through [TF1], then thatβs one financial partner that disappears.β

I was curious about second-window deals for producers (if your ITV show is now also on Disney+, for example, do you get any extra Β£?). The answer is no, because of fairly standard sub-licensing terms. But could that -- and should that -- change in the future? French producers certainly think so.

A few thoughts about the NYT critics shakeup: Theater is one of the hardest of all disciplines to cover as a critic (or reporter). You need to know its language and history. And there's a ton you can and should do to educate yourself. But you can never "catch up." You can't see what you didn't see.>

More good worker's rights news - companies will be banned from using NDAs to cover up misconduct at work.
@commonswec.parliament.uk heard evidence during our misogyny in music inquiry that NDAs are being abused to silence victims of harassment. This change will make a real difference for workers.
