I see toddlers cry about everything all the time, and I found it far more disturbing to see refrigerator trucks full of body bags outside of the hospitals…

I don’t have much experience with hospital settings, but I would bring your own well-fitted and comfortable masks for yourself and all your visitors. And ask your nurses and doctors to mask. If they ask why, say “to prevent hospital acquired infections.” Good luck! 🤞

I would go a step further and say the key lesson learnt is that we should rapidly identify an emerging pathogen's mechanism of spread and implement suppression using engineering-based non-pharmaceutical strategies, eg condoms for HIV, nets for malaria, filters for airborne disease

The US has cut billions of dollars in COVID and pandemic readiness research funding, saying "Americans moved on years ago.”

The public health and broader science community MUST stop aiding this shift in research priorities by referring to COVID in the past tense.

If institutions, businesses, governments acknowledge the importance of #CleanAir policies and standards, then they could potentially be held liable if they fail to meet those standards. Safer to download responsibility onto individuals through “you do you” nonsense.
