I started a social media detox in February. I give myself about 5 to 10 minutes twice a day on bluesky and a check through the news at breakfast and after dinner. That's it.
Has done wonders for my mental health and my sleep

While I'm autistic, my husband has ADHD. His talk therapist told him that she thinks some of the best pairings come from a relationship between one autistic partner and one ADHD partner.

I had a conversation with my Dad recently in which I was trying to explain to him how I experience emotions. He asked "if you're at a funeral do you cry?" I said "depends on how much I want to mask that day, but I do feel bad that the other people there are sad. I'm just not typically sad myself"

Since January 20th I've made two purchases: a cone of shame for my giant breed dog because no one local had one her size and a mower part because no one else had it in stock. $50 total and the last $ they'll get from me.

I wish I had known my dishwasher didn't work before I ran it 3 times a week for the past several years. All that time wasted 🙄
