I only just now learned that they taste-tested Doritos flavored Mountain Dew and I could've told them from the conceptual stage that this was a bad idea

I never tried these because everything about its marketing/naming/description/etc was cringy.

Hard Mountain Dew:

It's both bad alcohol and bad Mountain Dew. It's kinda impressive

Purple Thunder:

Drinking this for 70¢ got me through some rough economical times. I also really like the taste, but only drink it like once a month or less because I fear it might have the same diminishing returns as Baja Blast.

Dark Berry Bash:

This might sound strange, but it tastes like virgin rum(?)

I don't know, some kinda mocktail. Alcohol without the bad life decisions.

Frostbite:

I remember trying it, not liking it and immediately forgetting what it tasted like.

This is my favorite tasting flavor and it might have something to do with me voting for it to become a mainstay during the DEWmocracy campaign

I sadly can't drink it often because this one does fuck with my heart like an energy drink. When I do drink it, it's wonderful

Baja Blast:

Baja Blast used to be my favorite because it was exclusive to Taco Bell and I hardly ever eat that stuff. The rare Baja made it taste like gold.

Now that I can buy it at Walmart, diminishing returns hit this drink harder than anything else. I hardly want it anymore.

LiveWire:

I remember trying this back at launch and it tasted so distinct. I can still taste it to this day.

I haven't tried it since because it was discontinued and I only just now learned that it's back in rotation because I was looking at the Wiki page for this thread.

Code Red:

I remember when Code Red originally came out and I loved it because it was a different Mountain Dew.

I don't know what happened, but I despise it now. I don't know if it's because I drank too much of it near launch or if I became too aware of the cherry flavoring.

Mountain Dew (The OG normal flavor):

This is the nectar that gets me through my days (alongside water, please don't hydrate with soda). I've grown so attached to it that I couldn't tell you what it tastes like outside of "Mountain Dew".

This soda deserves its legacy.

THREAD:

I drink Mountain Dew way too much, so I felt like giving my opinion on every flavor of Mountain Dew I've ever tried.

Don't expect too deep of an analysis here, it's mostly gonna be "I like this one" or "I don't like that one" with some talk of the taste.

I visit Chipotle once or twice a month and I'm making this thread to encourage myself to add a bit of variety to my food choices there.

Until I finish the menu, I can't have the same exact thing twice, though this rule is a bit flexible.
