Baja Midnight:

I really enjoy passion fruit so I liked this quite a bit but nowhere near as much as OG Baja Blast and definitely not close to the original Mountain Dew.

I only ever drink it if my brother heads to Taco Bell and grabs me one with his combos on the app.

Sweet Lightning:

Today, I tried out the KFC exclusive Mountain Dew. It is peach flavored which kinda fits it imo. I haven't contacted my Kentucky expert fiancé though, so that's up for debate. Although, KFC is now based in Texas, so I don't know if she's the expert anymore.

THREAD:

This will be a thread regarding my thoughts on the Minecraft Bedrock Marketplace stuff (there is another thread for Java mods)

This will be a bit scarce since I usually prefer to play new games rather than modify old games, but Minecraft is an exception many make.

Outvoted:

I haven't played this mod yet, but I know I'll love it because it's nice to see everything that could've been.

I don't like people calling Minecraft devs lazy for not doing these. They probably want to and could but would be smited by their firefly hating overlords

Lucky Block:

I liked these when they were brand new because of the seemingly endless things that could come out of them, but I eventually saw everything and it became a signature part of Minecraft brain rot...

I did like using them to play Minecraft hardcore like a roguelike

Dimensional Doors:

This was my favorite mod back when I started modded MC just because of the utility it had and because of all the possible room layouts

It was also cool seeing the various lore things such as Limbo or the destroyed portals 10 years before ruined portals became an official feature

Elemental Creepers:

This has always been a neat concept that I liked, but I've only ever seen people spawn each of them to see what they did and then when I downloaded the mod I spawned each of them to see what they did.

There's a lot of what I'll call "showcase" mods.

Mo Creatures:

This is one of the coolest mod packs ever, but I have a vendetta against it because back in the day, whenever a YouTuber would make a mod pack, fans would bitch at them until they added Mo Creatures, then that mod overshadowed everything else in the playthrough

Physics:

I'm just gonna lump all the "physics" mods together.

It's really cool and sometimes satisfying to see the Minecraft world act like the real world, but you can only see the overworld fall into a cave so many times before you realize how useless the mod is.

Replay Mod:

When Bree got me back into Minecraft, I noticed that YouTubers got way better with their cinematography and was wondering how. It was such a nice surprise to see a mod that made it so you could do so much with only one player.

It seems like an essential for videos.

Treecapitator:

This is one of those mods or plugins that change the game in a way that I cannot go back.

I remember when I started playing Bedrock with Bree, I instinctively cut the base of a tree and was so disappointed when nothing happened.

Works best with Spruce Giants.

Optifine:

Here's another essential mod that I don't really find essential.

It was really good back when the game ran like shit, but otherwise I didn't ever really need the updated visuals or features like zooming in.

I only ever use it if I'm using other mods on top of it.

Too Many Items/Not Enough Items/etc:

Ever since the dawn of Minecraft modding I've heard people talking about how essential this was but I've never felt it. I don't like all the shit on my menus and I'm kinda disappointed that it's made its way into the main game...

This will be a bit scarce since I usually prefer to play new games rather than mod old games, but Minecraft is an exception many make.

I easily did the Zombie Doctor achievement with the help of an Igloo lab which did like 99% of the work for me (just like Bree)

Anyways that's all the achievements I have as of the writing of this, so any achievements later in the thread were freshly earned (by myself or Bree)

Body Guard was another case where I told Bree that I wanted to do something and she did 99% of the leg work (I only put the pumpkin at the top)

I may or may not have been the danger that I was alarming the villagers about

I got an achievement that asks for you to do some trading with villagers and I'm working on an achievement that asks for you to do a lot of trading with villagers; frankly way too much trading with villagers. I say this as somebody that loves this game's trading system.

I also got several achievements for obtaining various foods, such as bread, cake, fish, and wabbit

Archer required for me to create a tower so I could accurately hit enemies from such a distance.

I got an achievement for eating rotten flesh (my favorite food in Minecraft because it annoys Bree)

This stupid dolphin achievement took half of forever because it wouldn't take my food and when I reached the ruins they showed me no achievement popped. It was only after I opened a chest I made on my island that it finally popped. Maybe it was slow to proc??

I don't remember taming a horse, but I can guarantee you that it's long gone

Funny thing, the first underwater ruin that I discovered was on the top of a bluff lol

Bree made and upkept my armor because she hated that I was always "naked"

An achievement I locked in on very early on was the one where you got every color of wool.

I started out by getting the colors the traditional way, but I quickly learned that there wasn't just one way to get each dye anymore and that flowers gave you most dyes. Crazy!

Leader of the pack ended being a very long outing because I had the worst luck running into wolves and when I finally did, I had the worst luck befriending them. iirc it took like a stack of bones

As a reward for all of that, I can become and animatronic. That things terrifying

Now to talk about farming achievements.

I very quickly made a hoe and sheered some sheep.

I got the Cow Tipper achievement via killing a horse (which apparently is taboo according to Bree)

There's also the achievement for breeding animals and oh my... that thumbnail...

One day when I was at work, I told Bree that we could go for the Chestful of Cobblestone achievement when I got home and when I got home, she had already done it and I got the achievement for being in a world with that chest.
