Congrats, Mary!

The BioWare news has me heartbroken. For the people involved and how hostile/uncertain this industry can feel at times.
Games can (and do) change lives. Case in point: Dragon Age made me want to make games and now I edit game text for a living.
Thank you to everyone who breathed life into DA.

Dragon Age, its story, and its team over the years, especially your writing, made me realize I wanted to pursue a career in gaming. Which I am now doing. That series and the engagement of you—and others who worked on it—with fans over the years changed my life. Thank you.

Our 3.5 year old has been obsessed with Cirque du Soleil and performing her own tricks for a while now. Tonight, we took her to see KOOZA. 13/10. Fantastic. Amazing show, and she sat through it all, clapping and cheering her heart out. A much-needed reminder of magic.

Today is a day for long walks, cozy games, deep breathing, intention work, and whatever brings you the most peace and focus. 🕯️

⭐️ Hey, so here’s a thing.

The phrase “did they even test this” will forever throw me into a rage.

No one - absolutely no one on planet earth - is more frustrated by a game’s bugs than the people who made it

One of the criticisms I’ve seen lately re: bugs is that devs just shrug and go “them’s the breaks.” no. We are little balls of rage, spite, and swallowed tears

Started playing #BG3 again. Tried when it first came out, but life got busy and I stopped just after Act I.

So here we go with my updated character: Briar, my noble, half-elf (high elf) Sorcerer.

These sound great! And ambitious. Give yourself grace if you need to extend timelines. Things always pop up that you don’t expect nor could you predict. Adaptability is key.

So much joy and giddiness watching her make her own little adventure.

Do we play too many games in front of her? Maybe. But, man, is it cute.

My husband got me Rook’s Coffer for Yuletide. My three-year-old daughter has taken the map from it. She puts it on the ground, points to a destination, bundles it up, and runs from room to room, on repeat, “to find the bad guys.”

Completed my first play through of #DragonAgeVeilguard the other night. Naenia Ingellvar of the Mourn Watch with her Crow. Despite seeing a lot of bones and holes from cut content, I was delighted. I laughed, I cried. I happily threw my Solavellan heart into the Fade.
