While U.S. headlines praise Mexico as a "beacon" of opportunity, we also stand at the edge of democratic backsliding and push against human rights. A recent and alarming example is Art. 109 of the proposed reform to the Telecom and Broadcasting Law, which would allow censorship of digital platforms.

When you play the long game, the satisfaction of seeing your hard work pay off is more significant than any recognition, applause, or mention. The pride in a well-done job and generating effective material change surpasses it all.

We are in the midst of an international regression. Peace, stability, and progress are all fragile. With so many world leaders falling into populist ploys for personal and political gains, ignoring the welfare of humanity, it is in spite of fear that we must continue to thrive.

18 States Sue to Stop Trump’s Birthright Citizenship Order
The lawsuit to block the president’s executive order is the first salvo in what is likely to be a long-running legal fight over immigration policy.
Breaking News: Eighteen states sued to block an executive order by President Trump that seeks to deny citizenship to babies born to unauthorized immigrants in the U.S.

Trump dropping his own memecoin means he has the wrong people in his ear re crypto policy.
I’m now getting very concerned about the Trump presidency.

Something that hasn’t been much discussed - creating a bunch of personal memecoins opens the door to secretive foreign buyers trying to curry influence with our leaders. If you hated hunter biden’s anonymous art sales, you should hate this too.

Basically, we used to have an informal rule that presidents wouldn’t start or run businesses that could pose a conflict of interest. Creating a bunch of memecoins and defi protocols opens the possibility to rampant violations of the emoluments clause. Not to mention the obvious COI given the fact that trump can set crypto policy.

Please fire whoever recommended going forward with the Melania launch today.
1. They don’t know what they’re doing.
2. They cost you a lot of $ and goodwill.
3. They don’t have your interests in mind.

I’m not sure people quite grasp how much of the crypto world is reacting to the Trump memecoin launches.

Not to bang a tired drum BUT the fact that the divestiture law has made TikTok so desperate to suck up to Trump in order to stay in business is WHY THESE KINDS OF LAWS SHOULD TRIGGER VERY SIGNIFICANT FIRST AMENDMENT SCRUTINY even if they directly target only property relations, not speech per se
