I've come to the sad conclusion that due to age and health, I am not going to be able to drink alcohol at my upcoming fun convention. Social anxiety will sadly arise but fuck it, I'll be dressed in my Pink Nazgûl Club outfit for most of it, which is probably more freeing than alcohol anyway.

I recall posting something to that effect recently. When your whole worldview is based on the belief that a certain type of person should have the most power, anything that makes it harder to determine what kind of person someone is screws up the whole house of cards. Trans, queer, mixed, etc.

Not only that! But society ghettoizes people at both ends of the aging spectrum. 18 to 55 year olds never want to see children or old people. They get shunted off to enclaves where we don’t have to deal with the realities of childhood or death.

Forgive me for being slow, but I just realized why the far right is so against gender fluidity: they need bio women to stay bio women because they need to have a clear population to oppress. If people have fluid genders, then who they oppress becomes uncertain. So, TERFs, how do you like them apples
