Year 2 finished the week having fun practicing doubling and halving.

Year 1 enjoyed searching for germs in the classroom. They learnt about Mary Seacole and how good hygiene is so important.

Year 1 have enjoyed learning about hygiene and how special people have shaped our world like Mary Seacole in the past and Dr Ranj helping children to learn today. They even got to brush their teeth!

Nursery have had a fun, creative morning. Children made special cards and enjoyed their whole class treat for filling their marble jar. Well done nursery children, what a… faaaantastic half term!

Reception had their last Tuesday Forest School session this week. We made it special with a fabulous fire, toasted marshmallows, a long water run and lots of fun, despite the drizzle!

Nursery had a visitor today to tell them all about the Luna New Year. They were kindly gifted with 20p each in an envelope 🧧 which is considered lucky and a part of the Luna tradition in many cultures. 🐴

This afternoon, Year 3 have been brilliant scientists, exploring the properties of different rocks!

Miss Webb got her numbers in a muddle so Nursery made sure they were in correct order.

Nursery are learning about the Chinese New Year this week. One child was very keen to make sure the classroom was clean for the celebration 🎉 🐴

Nursery have enjoyed feel good week spending lots of time exploring different feelings and linking it to our learning.

We have arrived at Wembley and begin our rehearsal! Energies are high!! We are seated in S14. 🎶

All weather forest school for Reception. Making feeling sticks, building dens, mixing and stirring and even making time for snack!

The three little pigs have been in Reception this week! We have been building houses, making pink pigs, drawing pigs and writing about the story in Drawing Club.

Years 5 and 6 workshop with Electric Umbrella.

We had a blast with @electricumbrella.bsky.social today. It’s always a joy to see how much the children having so much fun! Thank you to our wonderful PTA for organising.

The week we were visited by a local Ukulele band. The children had great fun joining in with the performance!

Nursery children enjoyed using their sound cones this morning in phonics. We explored lots of sounds together such as zzzz, vooom and ooooo.

What a joy to have such brilliant music in our school this week. A huge thank you and shout out to the Berkhamsted ukulele band (BURP) for their fun and inspiring performance.

Year 4 had fun investigating the perimeter of shapes today.

Nursery have had a fun morning exploring in our outside garden. Children planted daffodil bulbs and took part in bug hunting 🪱. We have been exploring our wonderful world 🌎 🔍.

As part of our new topic ‘Movers and Shakers’, Year 1 will learn about important people who changed history, including Mary Seacole. The children explored why handwashing is so important and enjoyed having a go themselves!
