After hesitating for a moment, the Bildit took another ball, bumped it into the air, and then the Bandicraft immediately lifted them into the air. They spiked the ball as hard as they could on its way down, and it sailed over the net. They shared a proud cheer.

Sometimes you’ve got to stay in character, y’know?” Ace smiled in a slightly weirded out but endearing way. “You know what, I can’t argue with that.” They stayed silent for a few moments, then looked around to make sure no one was watching. “...Can I join?”
