Researchers from ICE-2 contributed to the underlying analysis by means of a synthetic population model of 200 million EU households offering unprecedented detail on household energy use.

Last week, Dr Jann Weinand visited ETH Zurich, giving a seminar on direct air capture in European energy systems and a lecture on FAIR research data, as part of our international research collaborations. Exchanges like these are central to how we advance energy systems analysis across borders.

Proud to share that our PhD student Tobias Morbe received a BioSC Poster Award at the 9th BioSC Symposium in Bonn. His work explores sustainable practices in the pulp & paper industry from a systems perspective. Congrats, Tobias – great contribution to bioeconomy research at ICE-2!
