For sure! It's great to work on tools to improve your workflow. Especially when it can be reused later. I made unity Editor Terminal for this reason!

Everyone differs. With code, I believe perfect is the enemy of good; get it working first, then adjust later when (if) needed!

As a coder, one of the most challenging things for my #gamedev journey has been learning not to code!

There's more to making a game than coding, it's easy to get stuck just focusing on writing code and neglecting the rest of the game.

Yep! I'd like to add a variety of tanks and weapons once the core things are fleshed out. Possibly also planes and missiles!

I took a long break from game dev to focus on other stuff and my day job but started easing back into it last year! Now I'm working on a super short horror game with a couple of other people and I've got a backlog of ideas to play around with after this wraps up 😁

I understand what you mean to a degree, lots of really young people people are making great things and it can feel a bit strange to always be one of or 'the' oldest in groups. I think most people don't mind though and it's easier to put up our own mental blocks 😁
