As someone who works as the buyer for a $160M category for a multi-billion dollar retailer I can confirm that we are braced to raise the prices for all goods coming out of Canada and Mexico within 7-days of tariffs going into effect, tariffs out of China taking 30 to 180 days to affect prices.

It’s not contradictory that the only thing they want to fund is military and police and the intelligence agencies. It’s explicitly part of what neoliberalism is.

It perplexes me how EVERY person in modern history who starts off turly advocating for justice in one form or another arrives at the same conclusion: Capitalism must be ended. Yet liberals look at that and say, "Clearly, they're all wrong. Capitalism is the greatest thing ever!"

You're giving liberals too much credit. It's more like: "60+% of people support this? Clearly, some people still don't like it, so we've got to ignore it and never even hint at running on it. As a matter of fact, label it extremism and denounce it."

The breadth of denialism of the genocide of Palestinians is still astounding to me bc of just how much dehumanization it requires.

Never in history have we seen an extermination of a nation play out in front our eyes so explicitly and never has there been this breadth and effort put into denial.

Stop using technical terminology. Dumb it down to the point of understanding for a 1st grader and follow the Socratic method of questioning to get them to come to the logical conclusion that is socialism themselves and then do the same for them to arrive at communism. It's worked every time for me.

We just need to make sure that when the time to rebuild comes, we can't let those liberal bastards claim our fight was their victory. "I went to all the facist rallies but only clapped half as hard as I could've, so I was actually on your side" will be their default stance.
