Fun Fact: Gray foxes are not “true” foxes, and are considered to be the most basal living canid.

I’m studying to be an educator in biology/anthropology, with a special interest in mammalogy. I hope to incorporate unique species features in all my suits to come. Lemurs hold a special place though because my partner has studied them at LCF and in Madagascar!

First two are dolphin and sea lion flippers. All living tetrapods have the same basic structure of “one bone, two bones, little bones, long bones.” Mammals typically have 5 “long bones,” and no living tetrapod has more than 5. This is wonderful evidence of a shared common ancestor that had 5 digits.

Feeling festive so I drew Dodo as a reindeer!
