Doctors in Minnesota decry fear and chaos amid Trump administration's immigration crackdown Doctors say immigrant patients are missing key medical appointments, afraid to come to medical clinics amid the Trump administration’s sweeping Minnesota immigration crackdown.

People outside of Minnesota should know that a lot of ICE agents are harassing, assaulting, and abducting people in plainclothes and unmasked.

Plainclothes ICE agents are especially likely to be in places people visit out of necessityβ€”like hospital lobbies.

This woman has more courage than every member of the Democratic leadership caucuses in Washington combined. And there are tens of thousands of everyday people just like her who are finding courage to confront evil face to face while our "leaders" dither and argue over semantics.

In response to announcement that he will be a new CBS contributor, Andrew Huberman tweeted β€œI’ve always gone issue-by-issue on health & science, spoken to experts w/a range of takes & presented where I see the center of (data) mass pointed. I’ll do the same with @CBSNews”. In Sept he posted this:

People are right to be incensed, but there are more names to uplift. ICE killed an immigrant man named Silverio Villegas GonzΓ‘lez in Chicagoland. He had children. Victor Manuel Diaz was kidnapped in Minneapolis and died in ICE custody on January 14. Their names deserve to be repeated, too.

On NPR on Friday, there was a story of a 4-year-old--an American citizen--who hasn't left her house since early December, not even to play in the yard. And her 8-year-old brother recently stopped going to school, too. Their father is undocumented, and the family doesn't want to risk him being taken.

The thing about America today is that if you just describe what is happening objectively and unemotionally you sound hysterical and partisan and what you have to remind people is that the reason for that is not you, it's the people doing the things you are describing

It is important to acknowledge who is standing up and who is just trying to get by. Every day Americans are standing up while the powerful are mostly standing by.

Why aren't law firms standing up and sending lawyers to Minneapolis. Why aren't the corporations speaking out? Why isn't the media?

I am The Post’s β€˜federal government whisperer.’ It’s been brutal. One reporter’s effort to show how Trump was transforming government brought her 1,168 new sources β€” and nearly broke her.

This is an article WaPo reporter Hannah Natanson wrote 3 weeks ago about her work. Her home was just raided by the FBI.
