Hmm we live in a rental apartment and our flooring is already a bit of a lost cause when it comes to gaps. Not sure any amount of humidity would fix them!!

But ya, I do think it's impacting our health. Every day is like waking up with a stuffy nose, dry mouth, and skin like paper :/ or nosebleeds

The warehouses were not designed to hold humans. They don’t have the wastewater and drinking water capacity and the locality they are in might not be able to handle the extra water use and wastewater of thousands of humans in them. It will be a disaster for the humans and the community.

How are these buildings secure from fires? Floods? Storms? Cold? Heat? What are the exit routes like in an emergency? What is the ventilation like? Are there windows? ARE THERE ANY RULES AT ALL??

These buildings were made to store BOXES of JUNK, not HUMAN BEINGS

I have so many questions about how this is legal under local zoning laws, what safety and health requirements these buildings have (or, more likely, lack), and who decides those things, not to mention what oversight there is to make sure these requirements (if they exists) are met

it's so easy to get USED TO IT that when you have a moment of clarity (what the hell?!?) it's a real shock to the system

i know this is the tip of the iceberg but this behavior is almost more shocking when it's coming from complete randoms (meaning, people i am not reading or thinking about on a daily or weekly basis) and not, you know, the president

i'll occasionally drop a swear word on here, although i will usually reflect to see if it's appropriate, or if i could do without. (sometimes i can't.) but this is like, wildly inappropriate, and imo disqualifying behavior for a political figure or public office holder
