The Hardys vs E&C ladder match stole the show and Chyna vs Jeff Jarrett was so much fun. The main event was fine for what it was as well. Much better than the previous PPV (Unforgiven).

This match is okay, not great by any means...but man JR makes this shit sound like it's the biggest thing happening. He carries a lot of these PPVs with his commentary I'm realizing.

Oh and the match is No Holds Barred!

Next up is the main event: Stone Cold vs HHH (c) for the WWF Championship which I'm pretty sure Stone Cold isn't winning because he's about to get ran over at the next PPV (I did it...for Da Rock)

A Four Corners Elimination match between Kane, X-Pac, Bradshaw, and Farooq. I guess they all are against each other? Idk the rules exactly...

Luckily back then (before social media 👴🏽) the character work was playing out on screen. So you see it all. You see Rock become the "People's Champ" and you see Mankind become the lovable goof that he ends up being.

Val Venis wins in a match in another meh match.

Mankind gets Rocko back and hopefully this storyline is over.

Just remember, around this time period it was truly a soap opera. It was more about character work and less about wrestling. They didn't focus much on wrestling until about mid to late 99 when Jericho, Angle, Eddie all started coming in.

Still good TV tho!
