Tried to write up a thread talking about my shitty living situation and potential solutions in hopes that maybe I can open emergency commissions or something to get me into a hotel for a bit, but it made me too depressed.
Yeah, I think taking a break from here is a good idea.

I think I’m gonna take a break from this site for a bit. My mind and body are completely exhausted and the doomscrolling ain’t helping.

There’s two joker cards- Gros Michel and Cavendish- that are decently powerful and upgrade your score multiplier without having to meet any conditions or do anything special. As the names suggest, the pictures on the cards are bananas!

As critical as I’ve been of TikTok over the years, I feel absolutely terrible for any creator or small business who gained a following there and had it all just… ripped away. That’s their livelihood, and now they have to scramble to find another platform.
It sucks.

It’s always a good time, but especially now, to bookmark the websites of artists you like. Maybe even have an offline list of names of folks you want to keep up with/support in your notes app or whatever. Never know what app, website, etc will be banned next. 🤡

You CAN be in your 30's and spend hours every day drawing your OC's for 20 people on the internet, don't let your dreams stay dreams

Dredge is super cool and fun and I will keep playing it. But I’m thinking smaller doses are key here. And maybe toggling off some of the visual effects. ^^;;;

Next time I decide to spend an entire day playing a game that has a hallucination/panic/unreality mechanic, kindly remind me:
1) don’t do that
2) you’re already prone to hallucinating, you silly goose
3) seriously, don’t do that

I used to regularly stay up past midnight gaming and hanging out with friends.
Now, I’m fighting the sleepytireds and losing- and have been since 9:00 PM.
When did I gain a reasonable sleep schedule???? I barely recognize myself!

the edits are for two things. One being for color corrections, as I had only recently realized the old palette was made for Nightshift, so too purple, etc. The other being some physical spritework changes, just because some things bothered me for a while.
