I didn’t plan it 100% this way.
But once I saw it in action, I knew it added something special.

👉 As a dev, leaving space for players to find these kinds of synergies makes your game feel smarter and more rewarding!

The game never tells you to do this.
There’s no tutorial explaining this interaction.
You just discover it by playing and experimenting.
That’s what emergent game design is all about:
Depth that comes naturally from how systems interact.

So...
What if you manage to time your attacks just right?
Here, using the Sorcerer, I land two basic attacks…
But right in between, I trigger a fire skill.
This avoids the reset and keeps the perk scaling

In this video, I’m showing how to use the "Elementalist" perk strategically within our turn-based system
Each time you deal damage with a different element, the perk stacks and gets stronger.
But if you repeat the same element twice in a row... it resets!

Rebalancing all zones to make them more fun and player-friendly!
Some areas will be shorter or longer depending on their difficulty. Art is still WIP,
But exciting changes are coming!
