The introduction to the concept of Ayakakashi in #silenthillf is terror at its absolute best. Suddenly realizing you’ve been looking at it all along, suddenly noticing how it actually behaves… Holy fuck, it’s extremely good. It gave me shivers after I found the note.

I still haven’t found my first weapon in #SilentHillF, but I’m loooooving the game! Really cool atmosphere, and the characters are -true to Silent Hill fashion- just weird enough to be uncomfortable while still feeling human. Plus the first enemies in the game are really cool!

Deep One micro-bust by Insomnia Miniatures, unpainted, next to my eye. They're practically the same size!

Deep One micro-bust and Nyarlathotep micro-bust, both by Insomnia Miniatures. The Deep One shows a humanoid fish-like creature, with tiny teeth sticking out of its mouth, while Nyarlathotep appears as a thin, almost skeletal man, with a twisting tentacle for a head. He has no eyes or nose, just a mouth open as if screaming. They're both on tiny wooden plinths covered in masking tape, ready for priming.

Man, the micro busts by Insomnia Miniatures are TINY. And I absolutely love them. I'm hoping I can get Nyarlathotep and the Deep One ready for a competition in September! I might even make a video around the Crawling Chaos...

I love it so much whenever I look at a model and go "oh that's a Vae Victis/Artisan Guild/Bite the Bullet/etc model" without having seen it before. It speaks volumes of how well defined their styles are... And how much time I've spent looking at their models while thinking of what to paint next 👀
